DJM900nxs2 + DDJ SP1 performance mode

Hello,  I used to be able to use the beat FX such as low cut echo and echo, on a DDJSP1 and have the effect be post fader on the DJM900nxs2 this was available in version 5.0 i specifically remember this function working correctly on the hardware and was one of the main reasons I purchased the 900nxs2. 

with using version 5.2 however I am not able to have the rekordbox effects be post fader. there is no option in the setting either to alter this. This has really effected the way I have to carry out my transitions. the 900nxs2 is supposed to be the flagship model, but without the post fader it feel like I have step back to using the old 900.

I really hope this get addressed because it is a major flaw in the software right now, and pioneer should focus on making their current products work correctly with rekordbox,before embarking on gimmicks like lyrics and auto dj, so us DJs can use these tools efficiently and correctly

@brad > The effects functionality changed due to the introduction of the DDJ-1000. 

Open your rekordbox preferences, click CONTROLLER, then the Effect tab, and verify that you have the BEAT FX selection set to "Use... as FX SEND/RETURN." That will allow you to use the DJM-900NXS2 in external mode and still have post-fader effects.

Perhaps instead of suggesting that groundbreaking features like Lyric are "gimmicks," you might check in the change-log / documentation to find the reason for the change.
