We have had some problems with our SX2 where the software will randomly loose connection and randomly reconnect with the SX2. I've speculated that it would be the physical port as opposed to the software or usb cord, has this happened to anyone else, if so what was your solution? Has anyone experienced loss of connection due to the port being loose? Thank you.
To be honest, I can't recall very many (if any) users reporting an issue like this. Usually those orange USB connectors are solid forever!
Unfortunately the only suggestion I can provide would be to have the unit serviced, you can either have that done at a local shop or find an authorized repair shop in your region.

i am having the same issue on connectivity.. it connects and disconnects in seconds.. usb port on sx2 seems strong . but still not able to connect .. used different cables , uninstalled and re-installed drivers .. checked on latest updated on firmware but the last one was done in 2015 and the drivers in 2016 .... i had mine for 2 months ...getting frustrated..... what did you end up doing to fix this sir ... I think Pioneer should be able to deal with this since its still under factory warranty ..
