DDJ 1000 Couple of Issues

First off this controller is fantastic.. The jog wheels are the best!

My two issues are:

When the crossfader curve adjust is set to the middle setting in Recordbox, it doesn't seem to match how it should function on the controller itself, if I was playing deck 2, and had the fader move from left to centre (which should go from no sound to full), it goes even louder moving from centre to right. It shouldn't change in volume from centre to right on this setting as the centre is max volume? I had to adjust the setting in rekordbox towards the sharp cut to balance it correctly around the 2 o clock position.

Secondly is just a minor issue with the quality of the tempo silder. My right slider is very stiff when its moved to the slowest tempo, much more so than the left tempo slider. Is this something that smooths out over time?

The engineering team has informed me that the reason there are some differences in the accuracy of the position of the hardware to software because the resolution of the magvel pro crossfader in the DDJ-1000 is optimized for the extremities of the fader; in other words, it's much more accurate at the ends of the fader for scratching.

Don't worry 100% about the markings on the hardware mixer, simply move the crossfader to a position where the on-screen crossfader is at the mid-point and the audio will be balanced.

OK got it fixed.  I had to press the RESET DEFAULT button on the bottom right corner.

i'm glad you got it fixed.  I found the reset to default button you mentioned but it did fix mine (I clicked reset default on all the tabs I could find)

still the hardware crossfader  doesn't match the software crossfader.

I noticed there's an upate rekordbox 5.2.2  installed it,  still no fix,  very anoying

Well it seems my second issue with the tempo slider has resolved itself. Its become smoother as I used it a bit now its very similar to the left sided one.

Still annoyed about the crossfader issue.

The crossfader thing is being investigated -- it shouldn't affect the audio performance, the engineers feel it may simply be an issue with matching the alignment. More to come!

When do you anticipate the crossfader issue be fixed?.

Its horrible as it stands right now and hope the REKORDBOX team deem this issue as a HIGH priority to be addressed in the next firmware release.

Heres a step in the right direction I believe it's the magvel faders that cause the volume issue!!!
I had the same on the rx2, it was either have it on cut or put up with that darn volume change which was embarrassing if you transition something slow then bring out fast on the drop..!
Unfortunately I was told it was hardware related so I ended up selling the rx2 went back to the rx1 and my style of mixing was restored and I'm happy again
I was looking at ddj 1000 for mobile dj parties but don't think I'll bother now knowing this !
Unless there's a sharpness adjust on the software anytime soon I'm gonna just make do with the rx1 and use the laptop .
For me
The fader curve volume overlap was a big issue
