key isn't saved to .m4a files

When I analyze .m4a tracks the key information isn't saved to the files even though I have "Write the value to the ID3 tag" enabled. Whenever I hit "reload tag" or restart rekordbox the key gets cleared. This works fine for mp3s. Is this a bug or just a limitation of the m4a format?

M4A / MP4 files use XMP tags instead of ID3 tags, maybe that's Rekordbox's excuse for not writing to the Key tag. But then it does write to all the other tags, so I also find it strange. I just use a different tag editor (kid3) to manually add the KEY (all caps) tag to my M4A / MP4 files, which Rekordbox will then happily read when using Reload Tag.
