So i've just started my trial for Rekordbox DJ. Trying to use my Pioneer XDJ-R1 to mix with, both decks only play when the fader is either in the middle or the left. Nothing plays when i slide it right. checked the fader on Rekordbox and it isnt moving... Any ideas on how to fix this?
@Jordan > That would be the issue -- you need to be using rekordbox dj (the paid version; PERFORMANCE mode) in order to use the XDJ-R1 as a controller for the software.

Also do i need Rekordbox DJ to use my laptop with my XDJ-R1's or can i just use the free Rekordbox?
El gratis es para preparar la música, cues, etc.... si no quieres computadora, es suficiente, yo tampoco uso el modo performance sólo el modo export, gratis
