Importing from iTunes (m4a files): missing "Release Date"

Hi,

I have an annoying issue related to the "Release Date" field in Rekordbox. I'm using the latest release: 5.2.2.

When importing tracks from iTunes (using the integrated iTunes link), the Release Date is not filled in. I understand this might be due to the fact that iTunes doesn't use this field, and uses instead the "YEAR" field to keep track of the release date.

I tried to fill in the "RELEASETIME" field using an external software (mp3tag). Again, no success on importing the tracks, either by importing the file directly, or from the iTunes link.

Is there a way to let Rekordbox see this field? Or, in case, which particular field should I rather fill in, to let Rekordbox populate the "Release Date" column?

I consider this as a very important feature, as I make extensive use of this field to create smart collections and keep my tracks organised.
