DJM-450 Windows Driver 1.102 Install

Hi,

I have reviewed the Pioneer DJ Forum website and cannot find a similar issue, the latest driver for windows will not complete installation on my new Dell laptop with Windows 10.

I have installed the driver from within rekordbox, uninstalled it, rebooted windows and re-installed from the driver that I download from the Pioneer DJ website for the DJM-450 for windows, and neither works!

I have followed the directions in this article on how to uninstall and re-install https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/214387506 and I still get a small DJM-450 window left on my screen that wont go away unless I reboot windows. I assume the driver isnt completing the installation because when I look inside Control Panel>Programs and Features the driver does not show the version under the version coloum.

I also looked in Control Panel>Device Manager and I am stuck with the a warning icon displayed on [Other Devices], and the link above says that uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling the driver with rekordbox closed should solve the problem, not in my case.

Lastly, my Audio Dropout meter within rekordbox is bouncing between 50-70% the minute I open rekordbox. I've reduce the waveform draw rate from high to medium, turned off tips, turned the waveform color from RGB to Blue, increased the buffer size to maximum and nothing really helped!

What am I missing? 

I am trying to play DVS and all of my equipment is brand new including the laptop.

My Equipment:

• Dell XPS 13 (i7 Processor, 16 GB RAM; 1TB Harddrive)
• Pioneer PLX-1000, and DJM-450
• Rekordbox timecode vinyl

I do not need INTERFACE 2? I read manual that the DJM-450 has a built in sound card, so I do not need the Interface 2? 

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
