I'm currently using 32gb sandisk 3.0. I am having a very hard time exporting any decent amount of songs to USB. Rekordbox will frequently detect that "the usb has been disconnected" and it corrupts everything already on it... this is extremely frustrating and it took me almost an entire day to get just a few playlists on USB. Any ideas? I really would like to purchase the rekordbox pro dj software so that I can organize all my stuff in one place (i have controllers at home but play on cdjs in clubs), but the exporting is making me hesitant on spending another few hundred dollars
If rekordbox is telling you the USB drive is disconnected, and it happens with multiple drives, methinks the problem may be the computer / USB chipset / USB port you're using. Perhaps try a different port?
If the exports are slow, it's because your drive is slow. See this video for detail.
