DDJ 1000: I've problems using the Sound Color FX. When I´m trying to use it, the following error message appears at rekordbox:
"It is impossible to use CFX in rekordbox for external sound source. Use the CFX inside the main unit."

If you have the red error strip:
Chances are you have one or more channels of your DDJ-1000 set to an external source. Verify that the input selector for each channel is set to either USB A or USB B.
Even with this warning, your CFX will still operate on the channels assigned internally.

How do you have your audio device / output device configured? The DDJ-1000 can only be used in INTERNAL mixer more. Are you trying to use another device with the DDJ-1000?
No, the controller is only connected to a MacBook Pro. The firmware is up-to-date and the sound card settings are correct.

I have the same problem. The error message appears on the screen of my laptop but the CFX work on the DDJ 1000 when the respective buttons on the controller are pushed.

Salve anche io ho lo stesso problema, ho provato di tutto per cercare di eliminarlo, ripristino account Mac, re installato rekordbox, aggiornato tutti i firmware, niente da fare il problema persiste, CFX funzione ma in basso sulla schermata del Mac compare “ impossibile utilizzare con una sorgente esterna...” proprio come accade agli altri utenti spero risolviate al più presto questo spiacevole inconveniente

Hi even I have the same problem, I tried everything to try to delete it, restore Mac account, installed king, firmware all firmware, nothing to do the problem persists, CFX function but at the bottom of the Mac screen compares "impossible to use with an external source ... "just as happens to other users I hope to solve this unpleasant inconvenience as soon as possible

I am also having the same issue, I use the internal mixer mode and though the CFX works its a pain in the ass getting this error.
I hope that they solve this problem for the DDJ-1000 as soon as possible
