Setting colors to cue points for XDJ RX ? (it works/and not)
Hey Everyone,
I have an XDJ RX system and did set cue points in Rekordbox for many songs,
which I have been assigned with different colors. So I loaded my prepared tracks
onto a USB stick to be able to retrieve them on my XDJ RX system.
However I did notice that my colored cue points are not visible on the XDJ RX ?!
Instead, I only see normal cue points with the default color in red.
At the same time, strangely, there are 2 tracks on my USB stick where the cue points are in purple (as I actually intended to be like).
When I called the Pioneer support yesterday, I was told that you can not set colored cue Points in Rekordbox for the XDJ RX and that the display on the DJ system only shows three Colors (red, white, orange).
This statement is not correct. For at least 2 tracks the color purple was applied to the XDJ via USB Stick. (I'm also willing to make a video on request so you can see that it works).
My question, why were not the color-coded cue points accepted on all my tracks?
Or do you have tips what I'm doing wrong?

I mean what is the purpose to have such a nice and important function to set cue points in color if we / DJ's can't use it. How can we know that a following cue point on a track is an active loop if even this option is still not working on the XDJ RX ? Yes through colored cue points. If it's possible to set cue points in color dj's are able to know if a following cue point is workable/safe to be a loop.
Please do something about this. I know I'm not the only one who wants this to be fixed/available, because I read in other topics and forums from many other DJ's for this request. I got the feeling that this option was programmed from Pioneer into the firmware bit does not work properly. And now it is half finished but nobody has fixed it so far or has responded to the wishes/request with an update.

It's probably a bug where colors aren't disabled for memory loops.
Even the CDJ-2000NXS doesn't support colors for cues and loops, so I doubt they will enable it on the XDJ-RX.
P.S. The active loop is marked with a red line on the small waveform.

Ok, then why not improve and solve this issue for the best of all by
releasing an update where colored cue points are possible on the XDJ etc. ?
