Rekord Box DJ, DDJ-XP1, 2 x XDJ-1000 Mk 2, DJM-850K, Mac Book Pro

I have the above equipment, I would like to use Rekordbox DJ from the laptop browsing and playing files via the XDJs, and use DDJ to control effects etc.

What would be the best routing option for all of these scenarios? I understand I can not use the DDJ using a usb hub?

I am hoping that the below work where I use the XDJ agregator and then use the analog outs into the DJM 850?

[LAPTOP Thunderbolt  ethernet adaptor ] --> [network hub] --> [XDJ] [XDJ]

[LAPTOP USB port1] --> [DDJ-XP1]

[LAPTOP USB port2] --> [USB HUB] --> [XDJ] [XDJ]

Will the above configuration work?

Is there a simpler way to do this?

You could use the XDJs with a USB hub, as they're only controllers. You don't need the ethernet adaptor as you're not using them linked (export mode), and you don't need the aggregator for the XDJs as you're using the DJM-850 which has a multi-channel audio interface.

Connect the XP1 and XDJs to the hub, connect the DJM directly. Configure rekordbox to use the DJM-850 in external mixer mode, sending each deck's audio to a different channel on the mixer.

Boom!
