iTunes Rekordbox Missing Songs Import Log Error
Hi I'm trying to import my music from iTunes into Rekordbox.... After import I keep getting an error message with a good portion of tracks that have not been imported into RekordBox
One or more files have not been imported. One or more tracks have not been imported,
possibly for the following reasons. - The file path is longer than 255 characters. - The file format is invalid - Music pieces not available in your country
Prior to making the switch to RKB Ive been using Traktor
So when I go back to Traktor all the files that RKB claims
errors on are all there and play fine.
Ive been at this all weekend Ive been trouble shooting every which
way and i cant seem to find a solution
rekordBox ver 5.2.2
itunes ver 12.7.4
Can someone give me some type of solution

Yes I was able to fix my problem. Prior to RKB I was using Traktor. My collection is all in Itunes … Traktor was feeding off of Itunes… And everything works fine…. So when I started using RKB I thought that RKB would do the same and feed off of Itunes. But it was feeding off of Traktor and all the playlists in Traktor…. So what I did was I took the error log that RKB produced looked for the titles it had listed as having a problem with and searched for them in Traktor. I then realized that they were faulty in Traktor but not not in Itunes. It’s a lengthy process but I relocated all the faulty files in Traktor and RKB has had no issues from then on

Hey Thanks for your explanation! I started clean and when I import my number from itunes it is for example 1500 and rekordbox looks only 1300 and I get the message that some songs can not be imported wonder how that can be just mp3 files
