XDJ-1000mk2 Hot Cue Call Out mode - not working

I saw one other post about this and I've tried contacting Pioneer support and had no response. I even got put on hold indefinitely when calling. Anyway, trying to get Hot Cue Call Out mode to work. According to the manual, you hold the call/delete button for 1 second then press desired Hot Cue button. The buttons are supposed to flash. They don't for me. And nothing happens. At all! I believe the firmware is 1.3, going to update now to 1.4 and see if anything changes.

Has anyone else had any issue with this? Am I missing something? Why is Pioneer Support so lacking???

does "call out" mean unload ?

I figured it out. The Hot Cue Call Out mode means to load previously saved hot cues. If you have the "auto load hot cues" option on, then this feature has no effect because the cues are pre-loaded. It's really confusing in the manual, at least for me.
