So I was casually going along updating them today when I realized that the firmware on my usb stick was for the XDJ 1000 MK 1 and by the time I figured that out it was too late. Currently one of my XDJ Mk2's might possibly think its a MK1.
-Touch Screen Is completely off
- Will load songs thru a usb drive and load them to the deck with full control of all the buttons.
slip mode works when I press the touchscreen (In the spot that slip mode usually is) even know it appears to be off.
-zero sound/output whatsoever

@Collin > As @Erik says, there's no way the player would accept the file if it was not renamed, corrupted or damaged somehow.
Please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have the unit inspected / repaired.

When trying to put the real XDJ 1000 MK 2 firmware back on with the normal update procedure I get a flash of this as soon as I plug in the usb with XDJ1KMK2.UPD
-this is the only time the screen has come on
But I can't get it to go back to a working state.
The firmware file for the XDJ-1000 MK1 is called XDJ1000.UPD, not XDJ1KMK2.UPD. So unless you manually renamed it, it shouldn't have flashed the wrong firmware. Is it possible that you turned the unit off while it was updating, and that's why it's now broken?
Either way, you'll probably have to contact a Pioneer service center and have them take a look at it.
