Multiple model CDJ’s Emergency loop, lose connection, stop, etc

Hello,

I am running into some problems with CDJ’s randomly (and very frequently, like every song or other song) going into emergency loops, taking very long time to load, or not loading at all. This happens both with the top USB port and seems to be even worse through direct link to rekordbox on my pc. Firmware and rekordbox software updated to newest as of today. I have tried wiping out and reanalyzing my entire library not just on rekordbox but also iTunes where my music comes from. Tried it with standard firewall settings and also with firewall off. Tried DJM Link Monitor both on and off. I have also tried running a CAT5 and 6 cable directly from CDJ to CDJ when using usb and same thing.

Original set up
PC to a d-link Des-1005E to 2x CDJ2000NXS and a DJM900NXS with CAT5 cables

Changes
All new CAT6 cables purchased today
D-link go-sw-5g
Tried it using a pair of CDJ900NXS (firmware updates last night)
Regarding usb’s I have used a Verbatim drive for years and never had a problem until recently. Have also tried about a half dozen smaller thumb drives I’ve used in the past with no issue. I have also purchased a new Seagate Backup Slim Plus 1TB and same problem.
I even tried to connect it to an older pc I used to use rekordbox on and it won’t even load tracks.

I’m really at a loss here, I had sent my CDJ 2000’s In assuming there was a problem in there and was given a loaner pair of 900’s. Now that it’s happening on both sets of players I doubt the tech will find anything. I don’t think there’s much more outside the rekordbox software itself that hasn’t been tested.

Please help.

I've noticed large drives being dropped from reading on the CDJ2000NXS2, including during a live set in a venue.  Drive reading itself, not an issue with Link.  It went into an emergency loop and I had to scramble to get a smaller drive with that same track on it to put in quickly and save it.  Happened with large drives that have no problems on SC5000 or MDJ-1000.  This has also happened on my CDJ-900s, though that design seems to have more issues, including not seeing any tracks inside some folders.

Don't know if you still have issues but i had the same problem suddenly, but after a lot of troubleshooting i got it solved. In my CDJ players configuration the players were defined as "Auto"  But at the mixer i use (now) channel 1 and 4. After redefining the players setup as player 1 and player 4 the problem didn't showed up anymore.

What?  Why would the player designation setting care which channels you have the CDJs connected to the mixer, and even if it did, which is absurd, why would it affect drive reading?!
