Yeah, that's what I'm going to recommend you do - they certainly shouldn't fail as you describe (which is why I was trying to determine if it was just one player or both -- which wasn't clear from the post).
Ok so i have. pair of xdj700s. both purchased less than 6 weeks ago. both looked after and both from the same batch manufactured April 2018. both almost with the same serial. one ending 869 the other 889.
on Friday i was playing the Admiral group annual awards party.
it was two gigs in one 11hours in total.
iv not had any issue up until this. night. about 7 hours into the gig the players start giving errors. The first time it was deck 2 that did it and went In to emergency loop. Then within 20 mins deck 1 started erroring saying unable to load file. I tried switching it to usb and it wouldn't load anything from usb or Rekordbox link. I had to reboot the deck and reconnect to Rekordbox again but less than a few mins and deck one errors again I've run the club's nexus 2000s without issue for 8hours straight with the same laptop. Same switch. Same cables nothing different except the xdjs.
iv checked my usb drives. and theyr working fine. Samsung t5 portable ssds.
i rub 2 x MacBook pros. both i5, 16gb ram, 2x 512gb ssda.
i used my hdds switches and MacBook the Wednesday prior on nexus 2000s with zero issues
They are both on the newest fw and came that way from new.
iv contacted the retailer and told them about the issue abs they are being super helpful.
I said id test them at home and the results aint great.
One deck switched off after about 4 hours of testing.
i switched it off at the main. left it a few minutes and then switched it back on but the power light was flashing and it would appear to boot and then reboot again. i left it off for 5 mins and then power cycled it and this time it turned on.
the other deck stayed on and remained linked.
On friday they both crashed and i was unable to recover with usb sticks so cut my night short..
main issue is that this glitch cost me my fee as i was unable to stick to my agreed hours at a fixed rate and could not deliver leaving them without a dj.
i should have had a backup but never expected to have this kind of issue.
after arguing with management and event company about the fee they terminated my residency for the club..no issue i have other venues but my reputation is at risk and i lost a healthy income because of this.
iv heard of only a few cases if flashing power lights and errors booting up..
can someone tell me what to do.
i need it sorted by Saturday im hoping the retailer will talk pioneer into authorizing a swap out as i don't have the time for rma warranty repair which is unreasonable after just 12 gigis with them in 6 weeks.
please help me :(

@AJ > Sorry to hear about that, it is certainly out of the ordinary for them to fail in such a manner. Was it just the one unit being problematic in each case?
When they both crashed Friday there was no reason for it. Neither would respond until I rebooted them but I had already lost faith at that point. If you read my comment carefully you'll see how thorough IV been in specifying my setup. Also I used everything with the addition to nexus 2000s on the wedne6and all was great. My library is fine. The crash lastnight happened after a few hours
And that crash was the worst but was isolated to just one player. Looked like some kind of nand failure / internal storage failure.
I work as an electronics engineer so understand the inner workings of these devices more than most. As my company also services DJ equipment. However due to the fact that these are under warranty and literrally 5 weeks old I will submit them for return or exchange with the retailer ASAP.
