DJM 900 and osx sierra. Utility not connected

Hi there. I have a djm 900 and tried to use it as a audio interface with my mac (osx 10.12.6). I could update the firmware and install the setting utility. The issue is that it shows as not connected (i know it is connected as i could update the firmware) Can you please help. Thanks. Enrique

Are you using the correct utility software? There are 3 different model DJM-900's:

- DJM-900NXS

- DJM-900SRT

- DJM-900NXS2

i have ne DJM-900NXS. Ive dowloaded the current version of the utility soft in the site. it says version 1.4.0, but i cannot connect. Can you please help. Thanks. Enrique

Click the Apple icon at the top left, click About This Mac... then click System Report, and then click the USB item on the left. You should see this:

Is the DJM-900NXS showing as connected on that list?

thank you. I dont see the Nexus connected there. Also, the nexus is connected by a RJ45 cable (not usb 2.0). I could update the firmware but i cant connect the utility. Thanks

Well there's your problem then! The firmware update utility is done via the ethernet connection, the Settings Utility and audio interface are for connecting via USB.
