XDJ-RX2 mapping completely all over the place.

Why is the midi mapping for the Performance mode on the XDJ-RX2 completely different to the hardware, and WHAT IS ACTUALLY WRITTEN ON THE DEVICE? It's like you're deliberately made it as unintuitive as you possibly could. No reasonable human being would look at that and go 'oh that's not beat loop, like it says in block capitals, it's +3 to the tracks key, whatever use that is'.

The only reference to a mapping that returns it to what it actually should be is just a dead link, and was a user defined file anyway. You should be providing this mapping. Why is this not the default? WHY WOULD YOU COMPLETELY CHANGE THE MAPPINGS PER MODE?

I really, genuinely hate that Pioneer is the industry standard, your software, your website and your support is truly bad and you should feel bad.

The stand-alone hardware mapping is different from the software mapping as additional functions are available while using software which are not available for stand-alone mode. As such, the engineers felt it was best to have the layout for software match the layout of the other controllers in the DDJ family so users would be comfortable moving between the DDJ and XDJ with rekordbox, or if they were using the RX2 as a stand-alone unit, the labels would indicate the functions of those controls.

You can find a diagram here to help you master the product.
