@adam > OS X 10.8 is supported, are you sure you got the right drivers? You want the Yosemite or older drivers, not the El Cap or newer drivers.
So I just gave my Allen&Heath Dj mixer to be serviced and rented a Pioneer DJM 900 NX2 . I plugged it in to my Laptop to see If I was able to use the DJM 900 NSX 2 as a my soundcard. It Didn't show up in the settings . So went to pioneer and downloaded the Driver for my older Macbook pro 2013 running 10.8.5 mountain lion knowing that I do not want to update my operating system because solid.
I looked for the driver for the older operating systems. Downloaded it and seemed to install properly. My computer restarted, I plugged it in and ...... Nothing. I tried connecting my laptop to the DJM 900Nx2 using USB 2 and 3 cables.
I opened the DJM 900 NXS2 settings Utility and was not connected.
I have no idea where to go from here.
This is quite frustrating.
The only thing I can think of is trying to roll back the firmware on the DJM 900 to play nice with the old driver ?
Ps I don't want to update my traktor software or my operating system. I would really appreciate your help with this. :)
Traktor 2.6.8
OSX 10.8.5

Ya those are the drivers I installed.
Is there anything else I can try?
Firmwhere on djm 900 nx2 reads 2.05
DJM Nexus setting utility 1.3.0
Driver is the Yosemite download for mac.
It's not showing that it's not connected to my computer. I have been reading about connection issues with the DJM software I don't know if this is software or a hardware issue.
