I am not having the DJM-2000 but if it is a standard Switch inside it should do the work.
Why not trying it out as you got the hardware. There is nothing you can damage by testing it.
I have two CDJ-2000's and a DJM-2000 mixer. On the back of the mixer, there are four ethernet ports that are related to each of the four mixer channels.
Can this on-board ethernet switch be used to connect the CDJ's directly to the mixer, rather than using an external ethernet switch/hub? Of course, I know that I can just connect the two CDJ-2000's to each other via one cable, but I'm interested in using the DJM's ethernet ports for this in case I add a 3rd or 4th deck.
All of the documentation I've seen regarding the on-board ethernet switch relate only to connecting another computer source to the separate 'computer' ethernet ports next to the channel ethernet ports. But what if I 'only' want to connect the CDJs directly to the DJM?
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

I figured it out. I just needed to clean the contacts of the ports. Now it works exactly like a 'switch' should. It wasn't working properly before that. I appreciate the response.
Yep, that's exactly what it's there for.
