Had the same problem last nite during a gig, had to shut down the controller and power it on again. 5.4.0 on windows 7
EDIT: my cpu is Intel Core i5 vPro
I'm having an issue with my DDJ-RR and Rekordbox 5.4 where the music will just die completely. I can see in Rekordbox that the software is still responding to inputs from the DDj-RR when I move faders or knobs. Turning off the DDJ-RR means the audio starts playing again after a couple of seconds. The music cutout indicator in Rekordbox never peaks outs and last time it froze the meter was basically at zero. Adjusting the buffer makes no difference.
For troubleshooting, I have disabled all other soundcards on the laptop and I am running everything through a brand new UPS to eliminate power fluctuations as an issue. I have tried through multiple USB ports using different USB cables and the issue remains the same. Nothing in the Windows event viewer suggests anything in particular. Task manager doesn't show anything weird.
Ultimately, I am running an AMD processor so the issue maybe coming from that but I want to eliminate all over possibilities before I drop a lot of money on a new computer so hoping folks have an idea.
