DJM S9 Mic Echo too strong

Hi,

I got my S9 brand new from sweetwater about a year ago. Out the box I alerted Pioneer that the echo attributed to the mic (Front panel) goes from 0 - 100 echo with just a crack if the dial.. A few blah blahs and yeah dudes later, several internet inquiries, software and firmware upgrades, and guess what?? You got it. 0-100 with just a crack. Meaning you just have to open the dial and so much echo kicks in that its unbearably distorted.

So I reverted to using mics through my line mixers until I under packed for a baby shower that turned into a dance hall late party that need a good mic. Reverted to my $1800 DJM S9, and, oh yes, duh! Mic has to be flat Kev cause echo doesn't work

Any fix for this as yet... ?
