Theoretically you could connect as many devices as the computer OS will support.
First I want to thank the rekordbox team, for the new feature of using exported usb devices (exported with the sync manager), using it in rekordbox performance mode.
This feature is very useful. Now we (a group of DJs) can use prepared USB sticks on one Rekordbox DJ Performance System (with one DJ- controller). Everybody has it own prepared library.
But here a question, is there a limitation of the count of devices (using it in the performance mode)? I tested it with one exported USB Stick and one exported SD-Card at the time and it runs perfect. But does it also runs with four exported devices?

How do you get all those usb sticks to contribute to the same history list? Also, how do you get all those sticks to retain "track played" status (marked as green)? I have an external drive with the master database and my playlists, but the other three DJs bring their sticks. We all pick and play fine, but mine is the only info in history and my tracks are the only ones that are marked as played. The USB sticks only show current playing tracks as green and retain no "track played" status. A couple of the guys have played tracks again by accident. How do we fix both history and track played status? Is the only way to import their playlists from their USB sticks to the main collection before our set? Is this being addressed? Just switched from Serato and an NS7iii to Rekordbox and DDJ-1000 and this is one of the areas I noticed that was lacking unless I am missing something. I need an accurate playlist that includes all DJs in a 4 hour set so I can post on Mixcloud and on radio website.
Export device tracks are not logged in the history of the host system.
