Do I need the DVS extension?

Hi all,

 

One quick question: if I want to use a Pioneer NXS2  set-up (CDJ2000 NXS2, DJM900 NXS2) in HID mode (only USB cables) to control the Rekordbox DJ software on my laptop, do I need to have an additional DVS extension license? Or does it run without the DVS pack?

No DVS needed - that's only for vinyl timecode input (yes, you could also do from a CD player, but any CD player from within the last 10 years has a USB connection so would offer MIDI or HID control, which is superior).
