On a Mac, the default is COMMAND+F to search the current playlist and CTRL+F to search the collection:
I believe on Windows it's ALT+F for playlist and CTRL+F for collection.

XDJ-RX2 Search within the current Playlist/Folder
It seems, that the current search feature (using the on-screen QWERTZ keyboard) always works on the entire track collection
While this is good is many cases, there are other situations, where I'd like to limit the search to only the currently selected PLAYLIST or FOLDER.
Could this feature (search only in the current selected PLAYLIST) be added to a future firmware release?!

I am sorry, but I was talking about the build-in search feature of the XDJ-RX2 in stand-alone mode and NOT the general recordbox search! (that's why wrote: using the on-screen QWERTZ keyboard).
So I am sorry to say, but the above answer is unluckily unrelated to my question. Again, I am looking for the search search capability you are describing above, but using the stand-alone search within the XDJ-RX2...

Hey, you could have been using a Surface Pro! ;)
Sorry, there's no capacity to constrain the text search to the selected playlist. Consider using some of the advanced filtering functionality instead.

Can you please explain how the advanced filtering functionality should be used instead?e.g. if you want to search for a specific Artist with the currently selected playlist - how should this work with using filtering?
