Yes to both cases, but how do you plan on controlling the software?
Hi!
I would like to know if there's an easy solution to set up the djm nxs2 as a standalone mixing solution with traktor (no cdj no time code, just the mixer). If not, is it possible with rekordbox?
Cheers and Thanks in advance for the solution!

The keyboard keys controlling ( Nudge / Tempo adjustment ) + the mixer, that's the idea!
It's just to get a solution when I can't transport the CDJ's, I was thinking about an X1,but can't buy it for now, so meanwhile...
Yep, that will work for ya! :)
Cool!
And is there a midi mapping to do, or is there a tsi file somewhere for it? Cause When I launch traktor for ex there's nothing mapped, the knobs/volume etc don't work
Most people are using it simply as an external audio mixer -- if you use it for MIDI as well it can cause some confusion as the hardware will still control the audio as it passes through.
All right, but then, can I use it with traktor in a standalone mixing station and if so how? For rekordbox it's working all good with the performance mode but what about traktor?
Thanks.
Literally the same thing -- external mixer mode, send each deck to a separate channel on the mixer and mix the audio there.
