DJM900 NXS2 not recognized by audicity (MAC)

Hi,

Since my recorder broke down, I looked for other recording options for my mixes. Therefor i chose to connect my DJM 900NXS2 mixer to my Macbook. Unfortunately the Macbook doesn't recognize the mixer. It doesn't show up in the audio settings. The same counts for Audacity. 

I recently updated my Macbook to the latest operating software. Is this a known issue?
