Rekordbox record issue with New Laptop!

 I have recently purchased a new HP Spectre x360  laptop - top spec and i have quickly put the latest rekordbox on it 5.4.2 and reinstated my existing library.

However, my 'record'' function has now stopped and its also not letting me select the ddj-rx driver. ( just errors while opening. )

I have tried uninstalling the driver reinstalling no joy, messing with the audio settings but it keeps reverting back to my laptop speakers as the main audio device.

I feel that my laptop has some compatibility issues communicating with the audio driver. doesn't show up as installed on my audio devices (on windows) but recognises itself on the audio drop down on rekordbox.

Please help!
