Issue with DJM-900SRT connecting to macbook pro

I'm having issues connecting my DJM-900SRT to my macbook pro (mid2012 10.11.6). The computer does not seem to be reading the seeing the mixer at all. I was using a hub which worked fine for years, but then one day it just didn't work. I got rid of the hub but it still doesn't work. The USB indicator light is not coming on at all in any situation. Other than the USB port, every other function on the mixer appears to be in working order.

Things I have tried:

  • Using several different USB cables
  • Updating Drivers
  • Updating firmware (using lan)
  • Using both Serato and Rekordbox
  • Using an old windows computer that I used to DJ with (also no longer works)
  • Checked in the system report usb tab and I don't see anything connected.

 

I'm not really sure what else to do here. At this point Im thinking its a hardware issue.

@Vincent > You've done the proper troubleshooting; if it doesn't appear in the system under USB devices, and the same thing happens with different computers / cables, then all signs point to the DJM as being problematic. I'll direct you to please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your DJM inspected and/or serviced.
