5.4.2 and DJM 250mk2 recording issues

When trying to rip vinyl through my 250 to my mac (High Sierra), which I've done thousands of times before, I now get a different info entry screen when the recording is finished. The new one asks for DJ Name, Album and Mix title instead of the old artist, album, track and the mix title field is filled in with the auto generated file name that includes the date. Besides that each track then has a .cue file created for it automatically and placed with the audio file in the recording folder. The .wavs seem to be ok but since I'm archiving records that I will no longer own I'm worried that something just isn't right about the recording process now when it's always worked differently before.
