Traktor + DJM 800 Recording Issues

Hello, having quite a difficult time finding answers on my specific needs so thought I'd try a post.

My setup goes as follows... Mid '14 MBP 10.14.1, Focusrite 6i6 Soundcard, Pioneer DJM 800, Traktor 2.11.13, Trakotr X1, Traktor F1.

So what I would like to understand is how to record my live mixes with this setup. I understand people use audacity, I've tried but the audio quality is garbage, also the possibility I'm setting that up wrong as well but who knows. I have read every post I could find but everything is with DJM 900's 850's, Midi this Midi that... I literally just want to be able to record. If someone could articulate to me how to properly setup my output routing I would greatly appreciate that. Its confusing as to a simpleton like myself that not all channels can be selected to be recorded. I have seen other pioneer mixers having a utility function screen where you can route things but to my knowledge DJM800's do not have that ability. Hope this is enough info to solve. I know the answer has got to be straight forward I am just not seeing it lol.

You're using a DJM800, it doesn't have an audio interface. You'll have to use your Focusrite to do it, or simply record within Traktor.

Thank you for responding promptly I appreciate that. I understand that the 800 doesn't have an interface to use. So within traktor settings, go to audio device, select my focus rite. Output routing, set everything up accordingly. input routing, i leave alone. Go to mix recorder, select external, now met with choosing input a -d including fx sends. Im sure I'm doing something wrong but i just don't see how to get traktor to record the mix. or even going into ableton 9 which i have as well.

If you're sending discrete channels from the Focusrite to the mixer, you're also going to need an input from the mixer back to the Focusrite in order to record the mix.
