DJM-800 Phono to Digital Out?

Hi, 

Is it possible to record from the digital out on a DJM-800, when using a turntable plugged into either the phono or CD/Digital (turntable has on-board phono, can be switched on or off)?  Not sure if my mixer has something loose internally (it's had some work done..) or this is impossible.  I haven't seen a solution here in the forums.
