cdj2000nxs2 - e7206 Auth chip error

getting this error e-7206: AUTH CHIP ERROR - Apple authentication tip does not

operate normally. 

 

can anyone help or advise what this means and what needs to be done to fix it?

Exactly as the error states (which is actually 7026) - that's an issue with the CPU communication with the authentication chip. It either means there's a bad connection or the chip has failed and the mainboard will need to be replaced. Please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or serviced.
