Correct; the booth and master outputs are each controlled independently. You can use both outputs at the same time, but they are not reliant on the volume of the other.
Hi
I have plugged speakers into both master outputs (at separate times) on my XDJ RX. However the volume is only controlled by the booth output knob. I am concerned therefore my device wont be able to use booth and master outs ( if they're controlled by the same knob). I am unsure but have seen similar videos with the same problem
Any help greatly appreciated

AFAIK Master and Booth output are independent and controlled separately on XDJ-RX(2)
Hi, apologies perhaps I didn't explain myself properly. I understand they are supposed to be controlled independently however the booth output seems to be responsible for any output, the master control is not having any impact. So for some reason the booth output controls both the master and booth speakers. I believe this video shows a similar problem:
Other tests for you...
- do you have audio output from the booth out, and which knob controls it?
- do you have audio output from the RCA master out, and which knob controls it?
- is there audio sent to the headphones?
