Genre/Artwork Not Updating On Rekordbox

This is probably my error. I've added some tracks to a USB that have been analysed by Rekordbox.

Since then I have added a few things in Rekordbox such as the Genre and the Artwork. I've tried right clicking in Rekordbox to update the stick, but when I plug the USB into the RX2, it does not show the genre or the artwork.

Do I have to delete the tracks from the USB and export them again from Rekordbox? Surely you you be able to update the tracks without having to delete them and load them on the USB again?

Simply updating the tracks in your collection doesn't refresh the tracks on your drive unless there is a reason to do so. You may try exporting the same playlist again to see if it updates.

"If you ad artwork to a playlist in Rekordbox, the artwork are just temporary (It resides in the content folder with all the tracks) and will only transfer one way. (EXPORT), if you import a playlist from a external device it may not transfer with the tracks. If your collection is already changed or empty!"

Most of the times you get a notice of this when the import are done

So!

A small tip, use MP3 tag (Free program) both for PC and Mac. Encode your artwork in the mp3s and it will transfer with the import and export "Always" in Rekordbox.

I had to remove all the files from the USB and re-export them via Rekordbox. I thought the software would be capable of updating Artwork like a sync method. Basically, you need to have the full details of the track such as artwork, genre etc before you export it to USB drive. I'm surprised that you can't update without having to totally delete the track and start again.
