Djm S9 & Serato Pro not recording any waveform or sound

My setup is 2 Technic 1210 decks and a S9.  I have recorded plenty of sets, and it just recently stopped working and I am not sure why.  Now the recordings have no waveform at all and no sound.

Also, I'm sure this is a connected issue, but I also have to go into DJ Pro settings and click on turntables every time i power on the mixer to play.

Both serato DJ pro and the S9 are up-to-date.
