CDJ/DJM HID mode, XP1 and external harddrive on 2 USB ports
Curious what would be the best method to hookup 2 CDJ/DJM in HID mode, XP1 and a external harddrive together with only 2 USB ports. Ive heard the best way is the DJM on its own USB connection and put the CDJs, XP1 and harddrive on a powered USB hub. Thoughts?

Thanks, Pulse. To prevent audio fallout, do you also recommend hooking the DJM directly into one USB port and the the rest on a powered hub (2 CDJs, XP1 and harddrive)?

That's been the most recommended configuration, however I prefer having my hard drive connected directly, and everything else through a hub. It's entirely up to you - test it out and see what works best!

Thanks again, Pulse. I wish I could test it out. I'm in Hawaii and I don't know of anyone that has a CDJ/DJM setup on island. I'm flying to a different island to play at a club and the only time I'll have to test any type of configuration is when I fly in and go to Guitar Center, lol. Which is why I'd like to know the best possible option beforehand. Also, any powered hubs you recommend? Ended up running the CDJ/DJM and XP1 on that powered USB hub linked above and the harddrive on its own dedicated port with no issues.
