XDJ RX2 + CDJ 2000 Nexus2 do both work together with all functions?

Hello!

At the beginning I would like to buy one CDJ 2000 Nexus2 and connect to my XDJ RX2 as the link input on the channel nr 2. Therefore, I have a question, will all functions work fully when connected?

For example, will I be able to use the sync function between channel 1 (on XDJ RX2) and channel 2 (on CDJ 2000 Nexus2)?

In the future I plan to buy a second CDJ 2000 Nexus2 and Mixer. However, I want to do it successively and use all functions in the meantime.
