XDJ RX2 Hot Cues stopped working when switching between USB Thumbdrives

I recently had a situation where I needed to switch from one USB Thumbdrive, plugged into USB Port1,  that had Rekordbox Analyzed files to another USB Thumbdrive that also had Rekordbox Analyzed files, plugged into USB Port 2.  The next thing I did was I stopped USB1 by pressing the USB Stop button.  I then took the USB from Port 1 out.  Made some changes to it on my laptop that was not connected to anything and then plugged the USB back into USB Port 1.  When I loaded the first song from USB 1 , back on to the XDJ RX2 the Hot Cue points where loaded.  This was indicated by the pads lighting up.  But when I pressed them nothing would happen.  I then loaded another song on to the other channel and the Hot Cue points would work.  It just seemed to only affect the player where the first file was loaded.  This seems to be an intermittent thing because I repeated these steps in hopes to get things work and eventually it would work.  But on the next day away from the event I tried to recreate the situation and I was able to do it.  Is this expected behavior, or a known issue?
