XDJ700 delay

Hello, I recently purchased a pair of XDJ700 to use on the road, and I noticed a HUGE issue with them both... When I go to “search” mode there is a MAJOR delay and I get the “wait” icon every time I’m searching for a new song, which is brutal when I’m fast mixing in the club... I’ve always used the same brand/type of USB and NEVER had a problem with any other pioneer Dj products.. I’m using Corsair Flash Voyager GTX 128gb 3.0.. At first I thought it was the USB, so I swapped it out with a different one and had the same problem.. I have around 6000 songs in my USB.. Any reason or idea why all of a sudden I’m experiencing the “wait” delay on these units when I’ve never had an issue with any other Unit? Any help/feedback would be greatly appreciated

Is it with the linked player or the host of the USB device?

Hi there Pulse, thanks for replying, its actually the host unit, however I’ve tried it every which way where I switch units to see if that made a difference but I experienced the same issue, really want to get this issue resolved as soon as I can

Is it FAT32 or HFS+?

Sorry, had a busy couple of weeks - going to dig out my XDJ-700's today and test with my Corsair GTX and see what I can report.

What format is your GTX? I'm using FAT32 with over 7500 songs on it and it seems to perform just fine when searching, browsing, etc.

How many playlists are on the device?

Mine is FAT32 as well, with around 7,000 songs, I have 12 playlists (different generes) on my USB... so you’re not getting the “wait” logo when searching at all??
