DDJ 1000 rekordbox & DDJ 100 srt which differences?

Hi there, i have a DDJ 1000 with Rekordbox and i would to try if my consolle can work with SERATO. I see the 2 hardware are similars.

Does anyone has tried to do this? Help me, please.

The DDJ-1000 will not work with Serato DJ; you would need to purchase the DDJ-1000SRT model.

They are very similar units, however the software is a bigger difference.
