XDJ XZ vs DJM 850 Sound quality

Hi , i currently  own a pair of XDJ 1000's and a DJM  850 , and planing to swap it for the new XDJ XZ , the only thing that i am concerned its sound quality , as i have a friend the owns a XDJ rx-2 , and i have clearly noticed a difference in sound , especially on the EQ side , i have seen my djm 850 its on 96khz , while de XDJ XZ is on 44.1 khz , how big of a difference will that make in sound quality ?
