performance mode only, external speakers not working

Hi, 

I have an XDJ XZ and have 2 issues.

1. In performance mode, the sound only comes through the Mac internal speakers but in Export mode it comes out of external speakers.

2. In performance mode it will not allow me to use 4 decks. I can get 4 decks to show but when i double press 'shift' it does not give me access to decks 3 and 4.

 

Can anybody help me please?

Hey Jon,

1. Did you properly install the drivers? Most people miss this step and have to then uninstall the drivers (from the driver installation package), reboot, reinstall, allow the drivers through security, then it will work.

2. Press the SHORTCUT button beside the display, then press the DECK 1/3 or DECK 2/4 button to switch. The double-press shift function will be included in a future firmware update.
