Playstate not working on second CDJ 900nexus

As the title states, my second CDJ is not turning green after playing a track for longer then a minute.
its the same thing when using the link function via a single usb. 
a track is played for well over 2 minuets and still showing as white after selecting and loading a new track.

Any help would be great with this thanks
