Hey Chris,
Sorry - the RX2 does not have an option for mono booth output.
To clarify, it will output whatever is going to the master (1 or 2 decks).

XDJ-RX2 Is it possible to use only 1 booth monitor and have it play both channels?
Warning, noob question ahead. I am a bartender that plays around with the dj decks on off nights and nobody is looking.
We have a XDJ RX2 in my bar and a single booth monitor. The monitor has a single TRS cable coming out the back of it which Ive seen the DJs plug into the back of the XDJ unit. I see there are 2 slots for a booth mointor to plug into which I am guessing is because it takes 2 speakers. I can hear that when the Djs are playing they have sound from both decks coming out of the monitor but when I plug it in I only get sound from 1 deck.
Is there a way to have the sound of both decks coming out from one booth monitor? Maybe like a mono option or something like that?

You can have both decks through one booth monitor. No problem.
You must connect it wrong, if you are not able to hear two decks
Ofcourse you will have only the left or right channel audio

Sorry, I should clarify -- yes, you can use just one monitor (as many mobile DJs do).
