XDJRX2 Export Link issue

Hey Pulse or whoever,

Running 5.8.5, Windows 10. I've got the USB Link driver, XDJ on 1.38, and all Pioneer apps are cleared to pass through Windows Firewall. Restarted, reinstalled, all the usual steps, although always possible i missed something.

Rekordbox in Performance mode works just fine, but export mode is only half working, unless I'm missing something. Computer pops up the sync button on seeing the RX2 plugged in, and then shows a LINK button with a 1 above it. But the XDJ, with the rekordbox button selected, wont switch into browser and playback mode like normal.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

The Link Export driver creates a virtual ethernet device; please check and see if it's configured properly and that your firewall rules are accommodating that device and its connections as well (sometimes it can appear as a Guest or Public network rather than a Private one so the rules are different).

Ahhhh, my VPN was on, that seems to have fixed it. Yeah, firewall was fine, all options checked in the Allow setting window, and Rekordbox was kindof seeing the hardware, but the connection to the individual "decks" of the RX2 wasn't working.

So yeah, looks like VPNs can get in the way of that connection.

Thanks for the reply!
