Yes; you can link the XDJ and DJS to sync the tempo (not MIDI).

I do not recommend connecting the DJS-1000 to an input on the RX2 because you risk creating a feedback loop. Connect the output from the XDJ-RX2 to the input of the DJS-1000, then the DJS-1000 output to the speakers. Unfortunately this means you can't monitor the DJS on the RX2.

Option 1: NO SAMPLING
