How to get external audio from Rekordbox AND use PC for rekord box??

Hi,

I have searched everywhere for this:

I have a CDJ850 and a CDJ 2000, and a crappy old mixer. I'd like to connect the two decks to rekordbox on my mac (via USB cable) and use rekordbox to select tracks - but - route the audio from each deck through the mixer (it has no usb mode)... can this be done? I've been tearing my hair out!

I have managed to get each deck to connect to Performance mode in Rekordbox. Im on Version 5.8. But Rekordbox always plays the audio internally - so I have no mixer.... Please help :)

@royalston > Yes, you just need to create an aggregate device consisting of both your CDJs. Open the Audio MIDI Setup application (Applications > Utilities folder) and click the + at the bottom of the Audio Devices window to create an aggregate, then check the boxes beside the CDJ-850 and CDJ-2000 on the right.

Within rekordbox, set the Aggregate as your audio device, then select External Mixer mode. For the outputs for deck 1, set Aggregate 1/2 and then deck 2, Aggregate 3/4. If they're backwards on the mixer, reverse them.
