Can you use the dub echo filter effect on the DJM-S9 for vinyl without being connected to Serato DJ Pro?

Is it possible to use the dub echo effect filter on the filter knob of the DJM-S9 mixer for vinyl without having your laptop and Serato DJ Pro connected to the mixer? In other Pioneer DJ mixers the dub echo was very easy to use with the color effects knob for vinyl and I am hoping that you aren't required to be connected with your laptop to be able to use this dub echo filter. 

Please let me know if this is possible.
