DJM 900 Streaming with OBS questions

I was using my Denon MC 7000 for live streaming with OBS.  I switched over now using my CDJ's and DJM 900 mixer. I have had nothing but problems with scratchy audio in the stream( it seems this happens even with the advanced audio properties set at - 9.7. I'm looking in the OBS logs and I need to know why during the stream the volume goes all the way into the red and then distorts from that point on. Also I notice when I have 1 camera on the other USB port it creates problems lagging etc . Never happened with the Denon. The DJM is the nest mixer I have used and desperately need all this to work as it one of the only mixers I can record the mic  for stream and then mute when saving to mp3 in Audacity when exporting.

I'm on a MacBook Pro 2015 16mb memory

Any tips or insight would be welcome

After looking into this I see in the OBS log that the cpu was overloading and that gave me the freezes it seems the DJM taxes the cpu more than the Denon did do I increased the buffer in OBS and I do not have any dropped frames. So the next test stream I did ran about 25 minutes with no problem ( I have the stream live on another computer in another room so I can hear if anything is wrong) I came in to check again and heard the audio distorting again so I look and see OBS is still running along with the stream no freezing so I stopped the stream and went back to listen to where the audio starts distorting 14:30 into the stream, now this is music I'm streaming and looking back at the recording ( I also recorded while streamed ) I see the distortion started when I used the phaser effect as when I removed the effect is when I heard the distortion and now even after the effect was off the distortion continued. IS it possible this caused the audio to distort? If so what can I do as I want to utilize the mixers effects.  Only thing I see in the OBS log that I notice is this :

adding 23 milliseconds of audio buffering, total audio buffering is now 23 milliseconds (source: DJM)

Anybody help me with this?
